I know this world from every angle. I spent nearly twenty years in senior HR roles, reaching VP level, sitting in the room where restructuring decisions were made. I have handed redundancy letters to talented, experienced people and watched them walk out of buildings they had given years to.

I then spent five years as an Associate at Right Management, inside the outplacement system. I have coached over 200 professionals through career transition in Switzerland.

When I first arrived in Switzerland, even with a 10 year background in HR in New Zealand I could not get into the job market. Finally, after a year landed a role, and worked in senior HR in international companies in Zurich for the next 15 years.

Can’t I get ChatGPT or AI to rewrite my CV?

Yes you certainly can and if you are happy with the result that’s great. However, I recommend an approach of using ChatGPT to help you, like a virtual assistant to suggest a revised wording or improve grammar. It can’t create the stories and identify the unique value proposition you want to communicate.

I’ve already got a CV, and I don’t want to re-write it. Will this help me?
